18th February 2026 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: SE Wind Stength: 20/35 Surf / Sea State: lumpy Air Temperature: 5 Sea Temperature: Weather: Cloudy, cold and windy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Wednesday 18th February - walk * – Arounnd Felixstowe – cloudy, windy and very cold:( With our van still in the garage we did not have many options today but the weather was pretty grim so we were happy to have a lazy start, Mag went for her early walk and we both did our exercises. Yummy homemade soup for lunch before we headed out for a late afternoon walk down to the prom, it was really not pleasant with a very cold strong breeze from the SE, Watched the waves from the pier before setting off into a head wind, just horrible, we were pleased to head up through the Spa Gardens to the cliff top to get out of the wind! Not looking good tomorrow, then Maeva Friday before a spell of breezy mild weather so I will hope to get out onto the water again! Photo Album here |
